No Judo class on Saturday

Grace Sensei will be out of town this weekend for a tournament and Coach Andres will be at the NAGA tournament. So Judo class is cancelled.

"I have a friend who is having a benefit for his brother Sunday--his brother has cancer, works for himself, and is really fighting physically, financially, spiritually with the chemo treatments. I bought three hour long lessons from Chris Camozzi (he gave me a deal!) to be auctioned off, and I bet people at the gym would like to bid on them. I want to make sure that they have the opportunity to come by and bid on the lessons (or the other items for bid), or they can tell me and I will bid for them."

Women's Muay Thai Class Underway/Schedule Changes

The women's Muay Thai clinic this weekend was a success and Kru Marc went ahead and formalized the class. The class will meet 2x week Wednesday from 7:30-8:30PM and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30. Consequently, the Open Class has moved from 9AM to 10:30-11:30 Saturday morning. We apologize if this inconveniences anyone but we are excited to be able to offer the new Muay Thai class for the ladies and feel it will be a great addition to our growing lineup of classes at the gym.

So ladies, have a great time in the class and get your friends down here! And thank you for coming and making a good turn out!

Competition Training Moved to 2:30 this Saturday

Sorry for the change of schedule all. We scheduled the BJJ competition training at the same time as the Women's Muay Thai clinic. So we are moving the comp training to 2:30 instead of 12:30. We aplogize for any inconvenience.

Also, 12:30 open mat is cancelled. Judo at 11:30 is still on though.

So the "big" news for those of you who havent read yet.... I will be on this season of The Ultimate Fighter 11. The show is wrapped up and will premiere on March 31st. This really will be one of the best seasons yet. Not just because Im on it but it is stacked will talent. Every guy on this show was a threat and willing to go all out in every fight.

Thank you again for the support, unfortunately I cant answer any questions or give away any inside info about the outcome of the show so bare with me and we can all see the action as it plays out.

Mats are getting packed!

As you may have noticed, the mats are getting busier. This is awesome, but we need to use our space well. Please make sure you are always paying attention to where everyone is around you and taking care of yourself and your partner.

Also, if you can, refer a friend. Whenever someone signs up that you referred you receive a $25 credit which you can use towards a purchase or as a discount off your dues. The more members we add, the sooner we can expand and get the next space over! That means two mat rooms!

Competition Training Saturday 12:30-2

We will be having the competition training this Saturday 3/6 12:30-2 PM. If you are planning on competing in the upcoming NAGA tournament, make sure you are there! If you are not competing but would like to get some good training in and help out the team, we would appreciate it.
